Portable PIN
Any user, allocated a PIN number, can make a call from any station using the PIN. The Class of
Service associated with the PIN applies to the call. The call logging output for the call shows the
actual station the call was made from and the PIN Identifier, so the call can be traced to the user
who actually made the call.
Turning Portable PIN on and off

From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘System programming’ is displayed
•
Select ‘System programming’
•
Enter the System Programming Password
•
Select ‘System’
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘Portable PIN’ is displayed
•
Select ‘Portable PIN’. A

diamond indicates the feature is enabled.
Press the handsfree key when finished.
Programming PINs
A total of 100 PIN numbers can be allocated in the system. Each PIN is allocated a class of
service. (By default it’s Class 3).Each PIN must be six digits long and unique or an Invalid
message is returned.

From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘System programming’ is displayed
•
Select ‘System programming’
•
Enter the System Programming Password
•
Select ‘System’
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘Portable PIN’ is displayed
•
Select ‘Portable PIN’.
•
Select ‘PIN Table’
•
Select the index (001 to 100)
•
Enter the required 6 digit PIN number you want to store
•
When the number is entered, select ‘Confirm’
•
You are then prompted to select a ‘Class of Service’:
Press the handsfree key when finished.
Note:
Class 1, 2 or 3 must be selected for each PIN. The default is that each PIN is allocated
Class 3. If the programmed Class ( 1, 2 or 3) is selected (the diamond is solid) no change takes
place, the diamond remains solid indicating the Class allocated to the PIN.
