Button Hopping
This feature allows the system user to choose if an answered call is automatically put on hold or
disconnected when another line key is pressed.
To choose which option
•
From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Select ‘System programming’
•
Enter the System Programming Password and select 'System'
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘Button Hopping’ is displayed
•
Select ‘Button Hopping’
•
Select the option (‘Disconnect or Autohold’) that you want. The default is ‘Autohold’ and
the

indicates the current program setting.
Press the handsfree key to finish programming.

Customising your Keystation
The PROGRAM Key accesses the options available to customise your Keystation settings.
To turn on Automatic answer mode
You may program your Keystation to work in 'Auto-answer mode'. In this mode the Hands-
free Key light flashes red, and when you receive an internal call you hear a burst of tone and
the call is connected automatically. You can speak to the caller without touching the
Keystation.

From your Keystation, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Select ‘Auto answer'
•
Select the required option – ‘Set auto answer’ or ‘Cancel auto answer’, to set and cancel
the Automatic answer mode respectively.
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
To program a feature onto a Programmable Key on your Station
You may re-program any or all of the Programmable Keys located on the Keystations. There are
eight keys on the Standard Keystation, 16 on the Executive Keystation and 32 on the
CONSOLE. You can program these keys to select lines, Stations, features or speed dial
numbers.

From your Keystation, press the PROGRAM Key
•
Press the Scroll Down Key (
) until ‘Key Programming’ is displayed

Select ‘Key programming’
•
Press the Programmable Key to be programmed. A list of options appears on the 'Display'
•
Select the required feature to be programmed onto the key. Use the Scroll Down Key (
) to
scroll down to view the list of available features. For example, to program the key with a
speed dial number, select the ‘Individual digits’ option.
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
Note:
If you are programming the key to call an external number remember to precede the
number with a 0, or an Outgoing Group code, 760 – 769 to select an exchange Line.
