Note
Hydraulic oil is harmful to the environment. Do not allow hydraulic oil to be
released into the ground, down a drain or into a stream, pond or lake.

Checking Hydraulic Oil Level
The hydraulic oil level is monitored via a sight glass on the hydraulic tank.
To Check the Hydraulic Oil Level:
1. Park the truck in accordance with the
recommended parking procedure.
2. Lower the forks fully, tilt the mast
forward fully and retract all cylinders on
any attachments.
3. Check the oil level on the sight glass
(
A
) – located inside the operating
enclosure on the right hand side.
4. The oil level should be approximately
half way between the top and bottom of
the window.
5. If necessary top up with oil of the same grade and quality as that in the tank.

To Add Hydraulic Oil:
1. Park the truck in accordance with the
recommended parking procedure.
2. Lower the forks fully, tilt the mast
forward fully and retract all cylinders on
any attachments.
3. Raise the bonnet (
B
) from the right
hand side of the truck to gain access to
the hydraulic tank filler.
4. Unscrew the filler cap (
C
).
5. Add hydraulic oil through the filler until
the oil level is half way between the
top and bottom of the sight glass (
A
).
6. Refit the filler cap securely.
7. Close the bonnet (
B
).

Caution
Switch off the engine before working on the hydraulic system.
Protective gloves and goggles must be worn when handling hydraulic oil.
Do not swallow. Ensure sufficient ventilation. Ensure cleanliness.
