8.2: General Engine Warranty
Combilift warrants to the ultimate purchaser and each subsequent purchaser that this
engine is designed, built and equipped so as to conform at the time of sale with the
applicable regulations under section 213 of the Clean Air Act, and that this engine is
free from defects in materials and workmanship which may cause such engine to fail
to conform with the applicable regulations for the first two years from the date of sale
to the first ultimate purchaser.
As the engine owner, you are responsible for the proper maintenance of the engine
as stated in the maintenance instructions. Proper maintenance generally includes
replacement and service, at the owner's expense, of such items as spark plugs, points,
condensers, and any other part, item, or device related to emission control.
For engines located within 100 miles** of an authorized service center, warranty
repairs must be made only at authorized service centers. For engines located more
than 100 miles** from an authorized service center, Combilift will provide for a service
technician to come to the owner to make the warranty repair.
