the height of the shoulder straps so that they adhere to your
child’s shoulders. Make sure that the harness straps are fitted
correctly. To unfasten the waist strap, press the central button
and pull the side prongs.
WARNING:
After removing the safety harness (e.g. to wash
it), ensure that the harness is reassembled correctly using the
anchorage points. The harness must be re adjusted.
HOW TO ADJUST THE BACKREST
9. The backrest can be adjusted in 4 positions using the lever on
the back. To adjust the backrest, act on the rear adjustment
system by pulling up the lever and pushing the backrest back
(Fig. 9). Vice versa, to straighten the backrest, push it forwards.
WARNING:
The child’s weight can make these operations
more difficult.
SUN CANOPY
10. To open the hood, push the front arch forward (fig. 10).
11. The hood has a flap that can be opened to increase its di-
mensions. The fabric surface of the hood can be increased
by opening the rear zipper (fig. 11-11A).
REAR BRAKES
The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be applied
simultaneously on both rear wheels by using one pedal alone.
12. To apply the brakes, press one of the two pedals on the sides
of the rear wheels down (fig. 12). To release the brakes, press
one of the two pedals (fig. 12A).
SWIVEL WHEELS
13. To make the wheels swivel, push down the lever found in
the area in front of the two front wheel sets (Fig. 13). Use
the swivel wheels on smooth surfaces. To lock the wheels,
raise the lever.
WARNING:
The swivel wheels make the stroller easier to
handle; it is recommended to use the wheels in fixed mode
on uneven ground to guarantee better stability (on gravel,
unpaved roads, etc.)
WARNING:
Both wheels must always be locked or unlocked
at the same time.
ADJUSTABLE LEGREST
The legrest can be adjusted in 2 positions.
14. To lower the legrest, press the two levers on both sides
of the lower base. (fig. 14). Simply push the legrest up to
raise it again.
CLOSING THE STROLLER
WARNING:
When carrying out this operation make sure that
your child and other children are at a safe distance. Make sure that
during these operations the moving parts of the stroller will not
come into contact with your child Before closing the stroller, make
sure that the storage basket is empty and the canopy is closed.
The stroller has a closing device that can be used with one hand.
15. The stroller closing control is located under the fabric of the
seat. To close the stroller, raise the fabric of the seat, slide
the locking device (fig. 15) and, at the same time, lift the
handle (fig. 15A). The stroller will fold on itself (fig. 15B). We
recommend leaving the front wheels free while closing the
stroller to achieve maximum compactness.
USING THE KEYFIT CAR SEAT ON THE STROLLER
The Auto Keyfit car seat can be fastened to the KWIK.ONE stroller.
WARNING:
Before using the stroller in combination with the
car seat, always check that the hook-on system is correctly
locked in place.
When fastened to the stroller, the Keyfit car seat can be used
for children from birth up to 13 kg in weight or until they are
able to sit independently.
To install the car seat, with the stroller open, fold the sun canopy
and recline the backrest completely.
WARNING:
To use it with the car seat, the bumper bar must
not be removed.
16. Position the car seat’s handle vertically with the car seat
parent-facing and attach it on the stroller making sure
that it locks on both sides; you will hear a CLICK when it
is fastened correctly (Fig. 16).
WARNING:
Before use, make sure that all the child car seat
fastening devices are correctly engaged by pulling the child
car seat up.
WARNING:
Never install the child car seat forward facing.
17. To release the car seat from the stroller, just press the rear
orange button (fig. 17) and lift the car seat by the handle
in vertical position.
WARNING:
The fastening and releasing operations can be
carried out also with your child inside the car seat; however,
these operations may be more difficult to execute with the
child’s weight.
USING THE CARRYCOT ON THE STROLLER
The relevant semi-rigid carrycot can be mounted on the KWIK.
ONE stroller.
18. Lower the backrest completely and remove the bumper
bar (Fig. 18). Take the carrycot and fasten it parent-facing
(fig.18A), making it slide in the relevant rails (fig. 18B) in the
inner part of the latter joints of the stroller (fig. 18C). Before
using, make sure that the semi-rigid carrycot is properly
locked on by pulling on it upwards.
19. To remove the semi-rigid carrycot from the frame, press the
two lateral buttons (fig. 19) and lift it up.
FITTING/REMOVING THE SEAT LINING
To remove the hood, basket and bumper bar, refer to the
paragraph “OPENING AND FIRST ASSEMBLY OF THE STROLLER”.
20. Unfasten the snap buttons on the handle tube (fig. 20).
Repeat this operation on the other side as well and remove
the fabric from the legrest (Fig. 20A). Pass the ends of the
three straps from the bottom up through the plastic slot
located under the seat (fig. 20B). To complete the removal
of the fabric, pull the fabric of the backrest up (20C). The
bumper bar lining can be removed by opening the zipper.
WARNING:
The footrest fabric cannot be removed. Clean
using a moist cloth.
To fit the lining on the stroller again, repeat the steps illustrated
above in reverse order.
ACCESSORIES
LEG COVER
21. To fit the leg cover, insert the legrest in the lower part
and fasten the snap button (fig. 21). Then, wrap the two
straps around the lateral tubes and fasten the buttons (fig.
21A-21B). The leg cover can be used in two different modes
(Fig. 21C-21D).
RAIN COVER
22. To fit the rain cover, fasten the straps around the stroller’s
frame, in the positions shown in Fig. 22 (the steps are to be
repeated on both sides of the stroller). When you have fin-
ished using the rain cover, allow it to dry properly if it is wet.
WARNING:
The rain cover cannot be used on the stroller
without hood, as it may cause suffocation.
WARNING:
When the rain cover is fitted on the stroller, never
leave it exposed to direct sunlight with the child inside, as the
temperature will rise considerably.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed against any conformity defect in
normal conditions of use as provided for by the instructions
for use. The warranty shall not therefore apply in the case of
damages caused by improper use, wear or accidental events.
For the duration of warranty on conformity defects please
refer to the specific provisions of national laws applicable in
the country of purchase, where provided.
