Roller Counterpoint Air Pressure
Adjustment
Small compressed air vents (Figure 7-64) help
push flatwork into the rollers in a way that helps
it not wrap around the rollers. However, if this air
pressure is too high, it can interfere with flatwork
being spread behind the rollers.
If frequent jams for either reason are a problem,
the air pressure must be adjusted.
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Raise the front access guard and secure in
position using the provided bracket arms
(Figure 7-65).
Locate the rolls counterpoint air pressure
adjustment knob (Figure 7-66) in the cen-
ter of the machine on the left side.
Turn the knob clockwise to decrease
pressure; counterclockwise to increase
pressure.
Lower the front access guard back into
position. Make sure it is secure.
Start the unit and process several pieces
to test the adjustment.
