ByPass Conveyors Drive Belt
Tension Adjustment
Over a period of time, the bypass conveyors
drive belt will stretch from normal wear. When
the belt is noticeably slack or begins to jump off
track, tension must be adjusted. When tension can
no longer be adjusted, replace the belt.
Required Tools
9/16” wrench
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Open the left endframe door and locate the
bypass conveyors drive belt idler pulley.
The bolt which secures it is located on the
inside of the left endframe (Figure 7-40,
A). Loosen this bolt.
Move the pulley in the slotted hole (Fig-
ure 7-40, B) until the belt has proper
tension.
Tighten the nut to secure the idler pulley.
Close the left endframe door.
Turn power ON at the main disconnect
switch. Start the unit to check the adjust-
ment.

drive belt will stretch from normal wear. When
the belt is noticeably slack or begins to jump off
track, tension must be adjusted. When tension can
no longer be adjusted, replace the belt.
Required Tools
9/16” wrench
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Open the right endframe door.
Locate the delivery drive motor mounting
bolt (Figure 7-39, A) and loosen it.
Locate the adjustment bolt in the slotted
hole and loosen it (Figure 7-39, B).
Carefully swing the motor until the belt
has the proper tension.
Tighten both bolts.
Close the right endframe door.
Turn power ON at the main disconnect
switch. Start the unit to check the adjust-
ment.
