Pilot line filter
WARNING
Burn hazard!
Before performing any service on the hydraulic system, you must allow it to cool. Hydraulic fluid
temperature should not exceed 40 °C (104 °F).
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

Pressurized system!
Never attempt to drain fluids or remove filters when the engine is running. Turn off the engine and
relieve all pressure from pressurized systems before servicing the machine.

Replace the pilot line filter every 2000 h (After 250 h of operation in run-in period).
NOTICE: The accumulator of the pilot circuit contains high pressure gas. Do not perform welding and avoid any
operation generating sparks and high temperature close to the accumulator.
NOTICE: When the machine is a new vehicle, or when the main components of the hydraulic system are already over-
hauled or replaced, replace the pilot filter after 250 h of operation. After that, replace the filter at specified intervals.
NOTICE: If any attachment other than a bucket is used, reduce the interval of the pilot line filter replacement. Refer
to Chapter 9.
1. Release all the pressure in the hydraulic tank. Refer to
page 6-8 .
2. Open the right-hand door.
3. Unscrew and remove the filter using a wrench.
4. Coat the seal of the new filter with a fine film of clean
oil.
5. Install the new filter.
Turn the filter until the seal comes into contact with the
filter head then tighten by an extra third of a turn by
hand.
