Firmware update using a Web browser
Firmware update using a Web browser
(1) Copy the firmware archive file to a PC accessible by the HDMA-4000.
(2) Use a Web browser to access the HDMA-4000 Setup page.
(3) Select [Firmware update] and start the update.
(4) Once the update completes, the HDMA-4000 will automatically restart.

Firmware update via network or USB
(1) Copy the firmware archive file and the firmware update control file to a USB
device or to the content update folder.
* For more information on the control file, see: “Descriptions of content update control file,”
in Reference 1.
(2) Once the update completes, the HDMA-4000 will restart automatically.
Possible reasons for failed updates:
- The file is invalid.
- The version has already been applied.

firmware update is in progress.
