CHAPTER 5 TROUBLESHOOTING
3.1.11 E535 (swing motor M8; detail code 01)

1) Does the swing guide operate at the correct timing?
YES: Go to step 2.
NO:
Go to step 3.
Swing guide closed sensor (PI15), Finisher controller PCB
2) Try operating the swing guide by hand. Does the state of J107B-6
(+) on the finisher controller PCB change?
NO:
Check the power to the sensor. If good, replace the sensor. If not
good, replace the finisher controller PCB.
Finisher controller PCB
3) Is 24 VU supplied to J101-1 (+) on the finisher controller?
YES: Replace the finisher controller PCB.
Wiring
4) Is 24 VU present at J714-5 (+) on the fuse PCB?
YES: Correct the wiring.
Switching regulator, Wiring
5) Is 24 VU present at J85-3 (+) of the switching regulator?
NO:
Replace the switching regulator.
YES: Check the wiring from the switching regulator to the fuse PCB; if
normal, replace the motor.
