Maintaining the Toner Cartridge
Keep the toner cartrdge away from computer screens, dsk drves, and floppy dsks. The
magnet nsde the toner cartrdge may harm these tems.
Avod locatons subject to hgh temperature, hgh humdty, or rapd changes n
temperature.
Do not expose the toner cartrdge to drect sunlght or brght lght for more than fve
mnutes.
Store the toner cartrdge n ts protectve bag. Do not open the bag untl you are ready to
nstall the toner cartrdge n the machne.
Save the toner cartrdge’s protectve bag n case you need to repack and transport the
toner cartrdge at a later date.
Do not store the toner cartrdge n a salty atmosphere or where there are corrosve gases
such as from aerosol sprays.
Do not remove the toner cartrdge from the machne unnecessarly.
Do not open the drum protectve shutter on the toner cartrdge. Prnt qualty may
deterorate f the drum surface s exposed to lght or s damaged.
Always hold the toner cartrdge by ts handle to avod touchng the drum protectve
shutter.
Do not stand the toner cartrdge on end, and do not turn t upsde down. If toner
becomes caked n the toner cartrdge, t may become mpossble to free t even by
shakng the toner cartrdge.
