Document Jams

When <CHECK DOCUMENT>, <FEEDER
PAPER JAM/CHECK THE FEEDER>, or
<DOCUMENT TOO LONG> appears on the
LCD dsplay, remove a jammed document
from the ADF or the document delvery slot.

When removng jammed documents or paper,
take care not to cut your hands on the edges of the
document or paper.
When removng jammed paper or when nspectng
the nsde of the machne, do not allow necklaces,
bracelets, or other metal objects to touch the
nsde of the machne, as ths may result n burns or
electrcal shock.

Lift the lever, and open the ADF.

Remove any jammed documents.

Do not pull the document forcefully as t may
tear.

Lift the document feeder tray.

Remove any jammed documents.

5

Lower the document feeder tray
and close the ADF.

Be careful not to get your fngers caught.
