Selecting the Type of Telephone Line (Tel Line Type)

Set the type of telephone line that is connected to the machine.

If this setting is incorrect, you will be unable to communicate with other machines. 
Be sure to check the type of telephone line you are using, and make the correct 
setting.

Use this procedure to switch the fax setup between tone and pulse dialing.

NOTE

•

To perform these settings, the Super G3 Fax Board (optional) must be installed.

•

The default setting is ‘Tone’.
