Selecting a Scan Mode

Press

(Start).

If the original is placed on the platen glass, follow the instructions that appear on 
the touch panel display. Press

(Start) once for each original. When scanning 

is complete, press [Done].

Scanning starts.

When scanning is complete, the document is sent to the specified destination. 

NOTE

•

To change the Scan mode setting, select [Option]. (See “Selecting a Scan Mode,” 
on p. 1-83.)

•

You can register the changed settings. (See “Storing/Erasing Scanning Mode,” on 
p. 1-131.)

•

If the Preview key is lit, the Preview display setting is turned on, and you can verify 
the images from the Preview screen before sending your documents. (See 
“Previewing Originals (Preview),” on p. 1-178.) 

•

To cancel all settings at once, press

(Reset). (The machine returns to the 

Standard mode.)
