Specify the destination.
For instructions on specifying the destination, see “Dialing Methods,” on p. 2-2.

Press [Start].
Scanning starts, and the scanned data is sent to the specified destination.
NOTE
•
During transmission, the destination’s fax/telephone number appears as messages
on the LCD display.
•
The Direct TX mode is automatically set to ‘OFF’ after the transmission is
complete.
•
To cancel sending, press
(Stop).
Stamping Originals
The machine can print a stamp (approximately 1/8" (3mm) in diameter) on the front
side of scanned originals.
IMPORTANT
The Stamp mode cannot be used when sending a fax document in the Direct TX mode.
NOTE
The Stamp mode can be used only when you place originals into the Feeder (DADF-A1).
