Received faxes do not print.

Cause 1

Is the toner cartridge installed properly?

Remedy

Make sure that the toner cartridge is installed properly. (See Chapter 7,
“Routine Maintenance,” in the

Cause 2

Is the sealing tape still on the toner cartridge?

Remedy

Remove the sealing tape from the toner cartridge. (See Chapter 7, “Routine
Maintenance,” in the

Reference Guide

Cause 3

Is any toner left in the toner cartridge?

Remedy 1 Replace the toner cartridge. (See Chapter 7, “Routine Maintenance,” in the

Reference Guide

Remedy 2 Set <KEEP PRINTING> to ‘ON’. When <KEEP PRINTING> is set to ‘ON’, the

machine continues to print documents even when toner runs low. (See <4.
CONT. PRINTING> of “Menu Descriptions,” on p. 10-8.)

Is the correct paper loaded in the paper drawer?

Remedy 1 Make sure that the correct type and size of paper loaded in the paper drawer.

Remedy 2 Load the correct paper size or change the default paper size to match the one
