The SETUP Menu: Communications
From the
Communications
pop-up window it is possible to access to the settings of the
interfaces installed on the system.
In particular, these are:
•
RS232 settings
,
•
TCP/IP settings
,
•
CAENET settings
.
These menus are accessible only if the current session was started with an Administrator
profile login. User and Guest profiles are not allowed to change interface settings.
The settings available in the
RS232 settings
pop-up window are as follows:
•
Baude rate,
•
Parity,
•
Character Length,
•
Number of stop bits
•
Flow control.
Default settings are listed in Table 6.1, p.36.
The settings available in the
TCP/IP settings
pop-up window are as follows:
•
IP address,
•
IP Net Mask,
•
Gateway.
Default settings are listed in Table 6.2.
The setting available in the
CAENET settings
pop-up window is:
•
Crate Number.
The crate number is the identification number assigned to the crate when belonging to a
daisy-chain.
Default settings are listed in Table 6.4, p.39.
