Ethernet interface (TCP/IP protocol)
The Ethernet connector provided with the system is a 10baseT connector and can be
used to interface the SY2527 system to an Ethernet LAN. This allows the system control
via an external standard IBM
TM
Personal Computer running a Telnet Client terminal
emulator program (
Remote operation via terminal using the TCP/IP protocol
, see § 7.2.3)
or to a computer connected to a TCP/IP network (INTERNET/INTRANET) and running a
custom-developed program (
Remote operation via host computer using the TCP/IP
protocol
).
6.2.1
