The MAIN Menu: Crate Map
Crate Map
is entered from the Main menu and opens the
Crate Map Window
showing
what types of boards are inserted into the crate and in which slot they are plugged into.
The
Crate Map Window
is shown in Fig. 7.9: the first column on the left indicates the
number of the Slot (from 0 to 15) together with the model of the board inserted into the
slot (if any). A short description of the board with its features and serial number follows
the board model.
Moreover, if there is an error of communication with a board inserted into a slot of the
crate, the relevant board blinks. As soon as the error source is removed, the board stops
blinking. Entering the
Crate Map Window
allows as well for the reset of communication
error status, i.e. if the communication error source is removed and the
Crate Map
Window
is entered, the CAEN SY2527 label in the status bar stops blinking on exiting
the
Crate Map Window
. Conversely, if the communication error source has not been
removed, the CAEN SY2527 label will go on blinking.
To return to the
Menu Bar
, press any key.
