SHARP OBJECTS. SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS.

The Larson Electronics ITX-40 Single Output Power Supply is designed to convert commonly used AC electrical current 

to 12VDC @ 40 amps or 24VDC @ 20 amps (voltage selectable below). This unit features forced air cooling by built-in 

fan, high power density of 4.9w/in3 and a built-in remote sense function. The device may be used to convert mainstream 

AC voltages to 12VDC or 24VDC, to operate a wide range of equipment, such as LED lights and other electronics with 

low voltage DC requirements.

Installation

Before any installation or maintenance work, please disconnect

your system from the utility. Ensure that it can’t be re-connected

inadvertently!

Keep enough insulation distance between mounting screws and

internal components of power supplies. Please refer to case

drawing on specifications to receive the maximum length of

mounting screw.

Mounting orientations other than standard orientation or operate

under high ambient temperature may increase the internal

component temperature and will require a de-rating in output

current. Please refer to the specification sheets to receive the

optimum mounting position and information about the de-rating

curve.

Fans and ventilation holes must be kept free from any

obstructions. Also a 10-15 cm clearance must be kept when the

adjacent device is a heat source.

If above mentioned suggested torque is not sufficient due to special application, then Nylok Blue Patch screws can be 

used, and more torque can be added if needed.
