engine compartment, lightly
shake the filter to release loose
dust and dirt.

Change the filter if it remains
caked with dirt.

For the type of filter to use,
see "Component Specifica-
tions" under "Specifications
and Capacities" later in this
section.

13. Install the air cleaner in the

housing

Make sure the air cleaner filter
seal is positioned correctly in
the air cleaner housing.

9. Rotate the housing cover and

remove.

10. Remove the air cleaner/filter

from the housing.

Take care to dislodge as little
dirt as possible to prevent dust
or dirt from entering the air
cleaner base.
