Drive slowly and follow the cable
manufacturer's instructions. If you
hear the cables contacting your
vehicle, stop and retighten them.
If the contact continues, slow
down until it stops.
NOTICE
To help avoid damage to your
vehicle, drive slowly, don’t spin
your wheels and readjust or
remove the device if it contacts
your vehicle.
Summer Tires (If equipped)
Your vehicle may be equipped
with tires that are optimized for
maximum dry and wet road
performance while still retaining
satisfactory tread life, excellent
durability, and low noise levels. In
severe winter climates where
snowfall may be significant, these
tires may be found to provide less
traction.
Winter Tires
Your all season or summer tires
may not offer the traction or level
of performance you would like on
snow or ice. If you expect to
frequently drive on snow or ice
covered roads, you may want to
get winter tires.
Using winter tires could adversely
affect vehicle handling. There may
be a decrease in dry road traction,
an increase in road noise and a
shorter tire tread life.
See your dealer for details regard-
ing winter tire availability and
proper tire selection.
If you choose to use winter tires,
you should use the same size, load
range, speed rating and construc-
tion type as the original tires on
the vehicle.
