To Get Out of Cruise Control

To temporarily turn off cruise
control without erasing the set
speed memory, do one of the
following:

• Step on the brake pedal or

push the clutch pedal if you
have a manual transmission.

• Press the cruise control cancel

button .

To turn off cruise control and erase
the set speed memory, do one of
the following:

• Press the cruise control on/off

button.

• Turn the ignition to the off

position.

The indicator light will turn off.

To Go Back to Your Set Speed

If you have temporarily turned off
cruise control without erasing the
set speed memory, do the
following to re-engage cruise
control:

• Once you're going about

40 km/h (25 mph) or more,
press the

RES

(Resume/Acceler-

ate) button for a moment.
You'll go right back up to your
chosen speed and stay there.
