To stop the recording process
prior to completion, first press
REC
to display the "stop recording"
option above a push-button, then
press the "stop recording" push-
button.
If you eject the disc or turn off the
ignition before the recording
process is complete, only tracks
that were completely recorded are
stored to the hard disc drive.
Incomplete tracks are discarded.
If you try to record the disc again,
the system will record only those
tracks that were not previously
recorded. Disc content already
saved to the hard disc drive will
not be recorded again.
Audio CD Song, Artist, Album
and Genre Information
Radios with a hard disc drive
contain a Gracenote
®
Database
that the radio uses to determine
the song, artist, album and genre
information.
The Gracenote
®
Database allows
the radio to record an audio CD to
the hard disc drive and store the
contents using song, artist, album
and genre information.
Newly released audio CDs and
some less common audio CDs may
not be found in the Gracenote
®
Database stored on the hard disc
drive.
If an audio CD is not in the
Gracenote
®
Database but the disc
contains CD-text, the radio will
use the CD-text information when
recording the contents to the hard
disc drive.
If an audio CD is not in the
Gracenote
®
Database and the disc
does not contain CD-text informa-
tion, the radio will record the disc
contents and store the song, artist,
album and genre names as
NO
INFO
(no information).
Items identified as
NO INFO
(no
information) on the hard disc drive
will be difficult to sort, identify and
select.
