Function

This feature allows you to restrict
the RDS alternate frequency
search to network station frequen-
cies within the same region as the
current station frequency.

To enable or disable this feature,
do the following:

1. Press the

CONFIG

(configure)

button to display the radio
setup menu.

2. Press the push-button under

RDS

(radio data system) to

display the RDS menu.

The RDS configuration options
will appear on the display.

3. You may choose one of the

following two modes:

REG ON

(region on)

Select

REG ON

to restrict the

RDS alternate frequency
search to network station fre-
quencies within the same re-
gion as the current station
frequency.

REG OFF

(region off)

Select

REG OFF

to allow the

system to search for network
station frequencies from
different regions.
