LEARN - Procedure for TSQ Operating Mode

In the TSQ operating mode (beam warping frame, seamers, quilting machines,
etc..) it is necessary to perform a learning cycle to detect the sensors where the
yarn is actually running. In this way the SMART 200 TSS system may exclude from
the control the sensors which are not used for a particular yarn processing
operation.
The learn cycle is characterized by the timing of the external Reset signal (EXC)
(pin 10 on I/O connector) and it is signaled by the status of Leds built-in inside the
TS5.. sensors and by the Led built-in inside the ENTER button of SMART 200 TSS
terminal.
When the system is in Control status (CONTROL message blinking and symbol >
displayed in sequence on terminal display) , press
to access the LEARN
function.

This message indicates that the learn operation has been “Reserved”. The actual
learning operation will start on the raising edge of external Reset signal (
EXC ),
indicated by a single flashing of sensors red LEDs.
The flashing “LEARN” message, the flashing red Led inside the button and
the flashing red Leds inside the sensors, indicate that the learning phase is in
progress.
