OFFSET
This function allows you to define the range of sensors on which to adjust the
Offset, i.e. the yarn absence condition in the actual machine operation
environment.
Yarn absence = 0 grams tension = NOYARN condition.
!
The
TS5.. sensors are already calibrated at delivery time, therefore the yarn
missing condition inside the detection zone should cause a reading of
Tension= 0 (NOYARN). However, this detection condition could be slightly
altered in the actual sensor installation environment, so it could be necessary
to carry out this function that corrects possible shifts with respect to the initial
calibration.
Once you have selected the OFFSET function from CONFIG menu, press
to
have access to the function.
XXX indicates the number of first sensor on which to perform the offset.
YYY indicates the number of last sensor on which to perform the offset.
SIDE A/B indicates the machine sides A/B (
only if the SIDE option is enabled
)
moves the cursor from XXX field to YYY field
increases the field pointed by the cursor
decreases the field pointed by the cursor
3 sec switches from side A to side B or vice versa
Once you have selected the desired sensor range, press
to continue.
The WAIT message shown for a few seconds indicates that the function has been
correctly carried out.
Press once
to return to the CONFIG Menu, or twice to return to the Main
Menu.
WARNING:
When performing the Offset function, ensure that no yarn
is inside the sensor.
!
To confirm if the OFFSET function has been correctly performed it is
sufficient to activate the graphic mode from Main Menu. (See page 3.52). With
yarn missing condition the reading should be T..0000.
