SMART 200 TSS

ENABLE NO-NC
It defines the operating mode of the ENABLE input:
ENABLE NO:
The ENABLE input is
normally open
and, if it is connected to
ground you obtain the de-activation of the Stop signal and the sensor
exclusion.
When you release the ENABLE input, the TS5.. sensor resumes the
control after a wait time corresponding to Delay Control
(green LED
flashing)
.
ENABLE NC:
The ENABLE input is
normally closed
(connected to ground)
and
when it is released, you obtain the de-activation of the Stop signal
and the sensor exclusion.
Connecting again the ENABLE input to ground, the TS5.. sensor
resumes the control after a wait time corresponding to Delay Control
(green LED flashing)
.
ABS / RELABS
It defines the sensor operating mode as regards the calculation of min/max
threshold and peak values with reference to the yarn tension:
ABS:
ABSOLUTE
mode – all calculations are carried out according to a
constant
reference value
(TENS)
defined by the operator during the
article programming phase
(NEW or MODIFY)
which applies to all
sensors on which that article has been loaded
(LOAD)
.
The
TENS H
,
TENS L
,
PEAK H
,
PEAK L
and
NOYARN
values too will
then be
constant
values with respect to the
TENS
reference and will
always remain unchanged throughout the entire yarn processing
cycle.
This option could be critical if, for any reason, one or more sensors
operate with an actual reference tension very close to the minimum
(TENS L)
or maximum
(TENS H)
limits defined for the article.
RELABS:
RELATIVE
–
ABSOLUTE
mode – All calculations are carried out
according to a reference value
self-learned
by each sensor during
the
LEARN
phase, that will remain constant throughout the entire
yarn processing cycle. Even in this case the
TENS H
,
TENS L
,
PEAK H
,
PEAK L
and
NOYARN
values will be
constant
values, but referred to a
specific value
(
relative
)
to each sensor.
The Learn phase is activated immediately after the loading process
of article’s parameters into
TS5..
sensors
(LOAD function of WORK
menu).
Furthermore, the RELABS option gives different result depending
on the selected operating mode
(either TSS or TSQ)
.
TSS:
During the learning phase the minimum and the maximum
threshold limits of the sensors are re-defined according to
the “learnt” tension value.
TSQ:
During the learning phase the threshold limits
(minimum and
maximum)
, are re-defined only for those sensors that operate
within the predefined tolerance band, while the sensors that
operate outside such band
(typically the sensors where the
yarn is not running)
are automatically disabled.
