6.5.6 Connection and assembly of electrical distributor
The assembly and the connection of the electrical power distributor to the main power supply is
the MR system owner's task. In order to be able to finish the electrical installation before instal-
lation of the MR system begins, the electrical power distributor can be delivered in advance.
The electrical power distributor is assembled in a suitable position on the wall in the technical
room.
The maximum distance to the installation site of the electronics cabinets of the MR system is
limited due to the 8 m long connection lines between the electrical distributor and the electronics
cabinets.

6.6 Supervision signals
The operation state of the magnet can be remotely supervised using the remote alarm connec-
tion of the magnet monitoring unit (BMU). The connection to a remote supervising and alarm
system of the building is done via a male 4 pin Amphenol connector of type C091A 4M. The
BMU provides two different alarm signal types with the following potential free pin assignment:
1 Horizontal assembly position: approx. 1200 mm above the floor
2 Mains connection line on the building side
3 Outgoing circuits for the MR system's consumers
