Error code list
Error Error message Description Remedy
2031
[Ink Pouch Error
Magenta] It refers to the failure in the
(M) IC chip.
Items to be checked:
(1) Check to see if any different color pouch is
inserted.
(2) Check to see if the cartridge is properly inserted
to the printer as far as it will go. And, check to see if
the pouch is properly attached to the cartridge.
(3) Check to see if the chip attached to the pouch
or the base on which to install the chip deviate or
come off. Or, check to see if the chip becomes
dirty.
(4) Check to see if the pouch is refilled with ink.
(5) Insert any other pouch and check to see if any
error occurs.
(6) Check to see if a clot of ink adheres to the
surrounding area of the needle and remove it if
any.
Electric components as candidate for replacement:
Remaining level detection circuit board, Ink supply
circuit board, Ink cartridge harness, and Main
circuit board
2032 [Ink Pouch Error Cyan]
It refers to the failure in the
(C) IC chip.
2033 [Ink Pouch Error Yellow]
It refers to the failure in the (Y)
IC chip.

12] It refers to the failure in the
(W12) IC chip.

[Ink Pouch Error White
34] It refers to the failure in the
(W34) IC chip.
2036 [Machine Error]
It refers to the failure in the
(Main circuit board / color) IC
chip.
Items to be checked:
(1) None
* In the case of immediately after replacing the
main circuit board, check the contact with the
contact portion on the rear side of the main circuit
board.

2037 [Machine Error]
It refers to the failure in the
(Main circuit board / white) IC
chip.

[No Wiper Cleaner
(CMYK)] No (color) wiper cleaner
cassette exists.
Items to be checked:
Replace the wiper cleaner with a new one to check
the presence sensor.
-> In case of presence: Since the wiper cleaner
is suspected to be deformed, replace the wiper
cleaner with a new one.
-> In case of absence: Since the sensor is
suspected to be failed, replace the wiper cleaner
presence sensor with a new one.
2042
[No Wiper Cleaner
(White)] No (white) wiper cleaner
cassette exists.
2050 [Temp Low]
The ambient temperature is
lower than the operation
assurance temperature for
the best print result.
Turn up the temperature of the surrounding area of
the printer.
2051 [Temp High]
The ambient temperature is
higher than the operation
assurance temperature for
the best print result.
Turn down the temperature of the surrounding
area of the printer.
