Assembly
(1) Hold the three FFCS of the carriage board in the two FFC support units and put them through the FFC sleeve.
<CAUTION>

When reusing the FFC support, be sure to clearly wipe away the ink stain or the like adhered to the FFC support. Poor
sliding of the FFC due to the dirt may cause various failures like FFC disconnection. If the dirt cannot be clearly wiped away,
replace the FFC support with a new one.
(2) Put marks on the two positions indicating the dimensions below of the carriage board FFC.
(3) Fold the FFC perpendicularly at the 4.3 in. (110 mm)-marked position.
(4) Use five screws to mount the carriage circuit board on the carriage circuit board bracket.
(5) Fix the FFC on the FFC clamp on the carriage circuit board bracket.
(6) Connect the relay connector leading to the encoder.
(7) Use a screw to fix the head ground wire.
(8) Using a cord holder, fix the relay connector harness leading to the encoder and head ground wire.
