Attach encoder circuit board to detach board to the carriage base with two screws.
<CAUTION>
Confirm that the encoder strip is wedged between the sensors.
<TIPS>
Re-attach circuit board upon reference to "6-2-20. Replacement of encoder circuit board".

Thread the carriage belt beneath the belt connecting fittings and secure with two hole bolts.
<IMPORTANT>
Be sure to insert four ridges of the carriage belt into each of the openings located on the belt connecting fittings to prevent
any of the openings from becoming vacant.
Thread the carriage belt beneath the encoder circuit board harness.
Adjust tension applied to the carriage belt upon reference to "6-1-11. Replacement of carriage motor".

Adjust the carriage speed after attaching cover. While the printer is in standby mode, press
on the operation
panel to bring the menu screen into view.

From the menu, select [Printer Setting] > [CR Speed Adjustment], and press
