A Blade (7)
Caution! The blade is very sharp. Only take hold of it by the plastic knob.
Before use, carefully remove the protective cover (I A) by standing the blade
with the cover on the table and pressing the knob downwards until the cover
lifts off. To re-attach the protective cover after use, place the blade on the
table and slip the protective cover over the knob. Hold the protective cover
with one hand and pull the knob firmly with the other hand so that the blade
securely locks into the protective cover.
Place the blade into the bowl before adding ingredients.
After use, always remove the blade before removing the processed food.
Cutting, chopping
Not recommended for extremely hard goods like coffee beans, nutmeg or
ice cubes.

When mixing with the blade (7), do not add ingredients like raisins, candied
peel, almonds, etc. which are not supposed to be cut. These have to be
added manually after having taken the dough out of the food processor
bowl.
B Kneading attachment (8)
The kneading attachment is specially designed for making yeast dough,
pasta and pastries.
Place the kneading attachment in the bowl before adding ingredients.
If liquids are needed, add them through the filling tube of the lid while the
motor is running.
Do not add any liquid after the dough has formed into a ball as then the
liquid will no longer be absorbed evenly.
Yeast dough (For bread & cake)
Max. 500 g flour plus other ingredients.
Choose speed 3 or the Kneading Attachment Program for approx.
1½ minutes.
Pasta dough
Max. 500 g flour plus other ingredients.
Choose speed 3 or the Kneading Attachment Program for approx.
1½ minutes.
Pastries
Max. 500 g flour plus other ingredients.
Choose speed 3 or the Kneading Attachment Program for approx.
1½ minutes.
For best results, use butter, which is not too hard, nor too soft.
Stop kneading the dough shortly after a ball has formed. Otherwise the
pastry dough will become too soft.
C Whipping attachment (9)
Use the whisk attachment to whisk egg whites, whip cream or prepare
sponges.
Do not use the whisk attachment to prepare cake mixtures with butter.

D Slicing / shredding system (10)
Place one insert (10a–10e) into the insert carrier (10) as shown and snap
into position. Put the assembled slicer/shredder onto the drive shaft in the
bowl. In order to remove the insert, push up the insert end that protrudes at
the bottom of the insert carrier.
Refilling should be done with the motor switched off. Never reach into the
filling tube when the motor is running. Always use the pusher.
For best results, process juicy or soft food at a lower speed. Hard food
should be processed at a higher speed.
E French-fries tool (11)
Place the French-fries tool onto the drive shaft, put on the lid (6) and lock in
place.
For best results place food in the filling tube of the lid (6) while the motor is
switched off. Turn on the device and use the pusher to apply slight pressure.
Before refilling: switch the motor off.
Speed Applications: see tables D + E
F Citrus press (12)
Attach the sieve to the food processor bowl by aligning the arrows and then
turning clockwise until the sieve locks into place. Put the cone onto the
sieve.
Safety lock: the citrus press will only work when the sieve is properly locked
onto the bowl.
Turn on the appliance (recommended speed 1) and press the half of a citrus
fruit on the cone.
Stop pressing from time to time to remove pulp from the sieve.
After use switch off and unplug. Turn the sieve anti clockwise and lift it off.
II Using the jug blender
Caution! The blade is sharp – only take hold of it by its base plate.
Maximum capacity: 1.5 l liquid (for milk-shakes 750 ml)
Assembly
Always assemble the sealing ring onto the blade unit before attaching the
blade unit to the blender jug (II).
Handle the blade unit with utmost care when assembling, disassembling
and cleaning.
Take hold of the blade unit from below, insert it into the blender jug from
below and turn it clockwise.
Attach the blender jug (align arrows) and turn anti-clockwise until it firmly
locks on the motor base. Attach the lid so that its lug is aligned with the
spout.
Use the jug blender for blending soups, shakes, smoothies, baby food or
mayonnaise.
Raw vegetable soup
Cut 750 g carrots into cubes and fill them into the jug. Add 750 ml water,
seasoning and herbs.
Mix for 5 seconds at maximum speed.
