When working on the electrical system and the
frequency inverter (FI)
DANGER
Life-threatening voltages inside the FI housing!
Contact can lead to serious injuries or death.
Never open the FI housing in operation!
Switch off the main switch and secure it against
being switched on again.
Wait for at least 5 minutes until all capacitors
have been discharged!
Before switching on again, close the FI housing.
The main switch must be switched off during all opera-
tions in the FI housing. This is also true if the com-
pressor has been stopped by the “Safe Torque
Off” (STO) or “motor-off” function. In this case, the fre-
quency inverter remains energized.

!
NOTICE
Damage to or failure of the FI caused by ex-
cessive voltage!
Do not apply any voltage to terminal strips X02
to X06 of the control board, not even for testing!
Only protective extra low voltage (PELV) may
be applied to the other terminals of the control
board and the extension board.
The supply voltage (230 V or 115 V) of the peripheral
devices is applied to the CN1, CN2, CN4, CN5, CN6
and CN9 terminals of the extension board.
Never apply voltage to the voltage outputs, not even for
testing.
The following applies to all CSV...MY types
WARNING
Strong magnetic field!
Keep magnetic and magnetizable objects away
from compressor!
Persons with cardiac pacemakers, implanted
heart defibrillators or metallic implants: maintain
a clearance of at least 30 cm!
The CSV...MY types are equipped with a permanent
magnet motor. Its magnets generate a not negligible
magnetic field. These compressors are provided with
these warning signs:

WARNING
Risk of bursting due to counterfeit refrigerants!
Serious injuries are possible!
Purchase refrigerants only from reputable man-
ufacturers and reliable distributors!
Risk of air penetration during operation in the vacuum
range
!
!
NOTICE
Potential chemical reactions as well as in-
creased condensing pressure and rise in dis-
charge gas temperature.
Avoid air penetration!
WARNING
A critical shift of the refrigerant ignition limit is
possible.
Avoid air penetration!
