6 E x p o r t , b a c k u p , a r c h i v i n g a n d a u d i t t r a i l

b r o w s i n g

IMPORTANT ! The user is responsible for setting up an export and backup policy that will

enable saving of data.

It is recommended to perform data export at least once a week.

The computer which contains the database must be operating during the
backup procedure (generally the TEMPO

®

Reader computer).

Note:

The complete database should be exported in

TED

format if there is a possibility

that the update of the

TEMPO

®

software programs will affect the database.

In this way, once the software programs have been updated, the

TEMPO

®

database can be imported with the guarantee that the data it contains are
complete and unmodified.

Backup of the database and audit trail is performed automatically on the hard
disk.
