Vali d ation an d mo di ficat ion of a prepared rack
Before being able to read a rack that has been prepared, you must validate it.
Note: When preparing a rack, as soon as you select a slot position for reading, you
can validate the rack. Make sure you select all the slot positions you want to
read before validating the rack preparation.

To validate rack preparation on the rack reading preparation screen:

Click on icon (Validate).
The flashing icon appears in the status bar and "START" is displayed
at the bottom of the screen.
The data are no longer accessible on the rack reading preparation screen,
and the rack can be read.
A rack can be modified before reading (see Modifying a validated rack on
page 5-51).
IMPORTANT ! Once a prepared rack is validated, you must not read other racks. It is
imperative to read the prepared rack.
