To read a rack that has been prepared using an existing rack, you need to 

validate its preparation by clicking on icon 

 (see Validation and modification 

of a prepared rack on page 5-50). 

Note: 

When the rack is validated, the flashing 

 icon is displayed in the status bar 

to indicate that the rack must be read before any other rack.
