Enabling Options
To enable options on a multiviewer
1 Obtain a license key from Grass Valley.
2 Open XAdmin.
The XAdmin Status and Options page appears.
SCTE35 KIP-OPT-SCTE-35 SCTE35 metadata extraction and alarming
license for a single program
TR 101 290 DVB KIP-OPT-TS-PROBE TR 101 290 DVB transport stream probing
option for priority 1 and priority 2
indicators. One license per Kaleido-IP.
Note: indicator 2.4 is not supported.
HD/SD H.265 decode KIP-OPT-HD-HEVC Decode license for H265/HEVC SD/HD
video CODEC. One license per Kaleido-IP
UHD/HD/SD H.265
decode KIP-OPT-UHD-HEVC Decode license for H265/HEVC SD/HD and
UHD video CODEC. For Kaleido-IP X310
only. One license per Kaleido-IP
Note:
The Kaleido-IP currently supports extraction of CC/subtitling and XDS
data (1 license/program), and display rotation. It is not yet possible to enable
or verify these options in XAdmin’s Status and Options page, for this
multiviewer model. Contact Technical Support for activation and
configuration instructions (
Grass Valley Technical Support , on page 110).
