Notes
• The Kaleido-IP supports streaming over wide area networks (WAN), which
are subject to packet delay variation (jitter), latency, packet reordering,
and packet loss. It also supports encoders that transmit in bursts or with
long delays between packets. The Kaleido-IP can handle transmission
delays matching the encoder’s video buffer delay, and, in the case of RTP
streams, up to ±120 ms of packet delay variation.
