3.8 Calibrating the analog output
To calibrate the 4-20 loop, refer to
Figure 69
below and complete the steps on the next page.

in ammeter into the

3. Verify the ammeter
reads 4mA +/-
0.02mA. If not,
repeat steps 2 and 3
To calibrate 20mA
(100%), set percent
value to 100
1. If the span trim
value is not 20mA
set to 20mA
2. Enter the value read
in ammeter into the
base trim
3. Verify the ammeter
reads 20mA +/-
0.02mA. If not,
repeat steps 2 and 3
