Add Heddles to the harnesses

EDDLES TO THE HARNESSES
The heddle support rods are held in the loom at the ends and in the middle
with hooks. The hook in the middle will prevent you from moving heddles
from one side to the other easily. Arrange your heddles so that you have the
number you need on each side before you begin threading the loom.
Note:
The number of heddles provided for your loom depends on the width. For 24”
looms 50 heddles per harness are provided. For 32” looms 75 heddles per
harness are provided. For 40” looms 100 heddles per harness are provided.
Additional heddles can be purchased from us if needed. Our heddles are
bundled in batches of 100.
1)
Pull the top heddle support rod up from the hook on one end and
thread heddles on. Do the same for the bottom heddle support rod.

Move the heddles towards the center, pulling the heddle rods away
from the center support as needed. Arrange the heddles so that
they are balanced on each side.
3)
Make sure the heddle rods are securely placed in the hooks when
you have added all the heddles you need.
Note:
If you prefer, you can remove the heddle support rods completely from the
loom to add heddles.
4)
Repeat these steps to add heddles to each harness.
