Configuring the 600r BIOS and firmware
Overview
The Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) of your 600r server is Flash ROM-based code. Upgrade
or reconfigure the BIOS using the utilities on the Avaya CallPilot® Image DVD. The utility
programs write updated code to the Flash ROM chips.
Upgrading or reconfiguring the BIOS is a three-step process:
1. Boot up from the Image DVD and display the Image Menu.
2. Update the BIOS firmware.
3. Update the FRU/SDR firmware.
Important:
You must complete all the steps, in the correct order, for your system to function properly.
