Dial-Pad Entry
Use the dial-pad keys to enter letters and numbers into a text field. Keys

have three assigned letters, while keys

have four assigned letters, as
shown in Figure 8.

enters characters in the following order:
1. Upper-case letters.
2. Key number.
3. Lower-case letters.
For example, pressing

cycles through A, B, C, 2, a, b, c. Pressing

cycles through P, Q,
R, S, 7, p, q, r, s.
For text fields that accept only numbers, pressing a key once enters a number.
You can enter special characters by pressing the

keys.
