Check heating coil consumption rates and state
Measure water consumption (by the steam generator) and current consumption during an economy cycle.
Compare these with the manufacturer’s parameters (see "operating instructions" Manual). If you find
that consumption rates are substantially different from those indicated by the manufacturer then perform
maintenance on the heating coil and/or replace it (see the instructions in paragraph 6.1).
P.
Replacing the polycarbonate screen
Cut off power to the appliance using the service switch located in the upper compartment;
Remove the adhesive screen using a copper blade to prevent scratching the panel. Remove the residual
glue (if you use liquids be careful not to wet the contacts) and clean the surface well;
Apply the new screen being careful to center both the display and the LED holes.
Q.
Check for any leaks in the wash pump stuffing.
First perform a wash cycle. Then turn the machine off using the service switch in the upper compartment
and check for drips between the scroll (the part in plastic) and the electric motor. If there is leakage then
you must replace the stuffing (see the instructions in paragraph 6.5.3).
R.
Cleaning the steam jets
See the instructions in paragraph 6.7.4.
S.
Check power connections on the heating coil
See the instructions in paragraph 6.1.
T.
Check the steam generator level control unit/ cleaning the control unit
See the instructions in paragraph 6.3.2.
U.
Check peristaltic pump aspiration / check operation by the aspiration nozzles
Perform a wash cycle and check, lifting the aspiration nozzles one at a time out from the drums, that they
aspirate liquid during the wash cycle (a few air bubbles will be aspirated along the pipes);
Without turning the machine off (it will remain on "stand-by") open the lower compartment and remove,
one by one, the aspiration nozzles from the drum. When the nozzle is pulled out the message that the
liquid must be refilled will appear. Then lift the mobile ring, sliding it towards the top (up to its top limit)
and check if the alarm disappears as soon as it is covered with the liquid to be refilled (remember to
repeat this procedure with all the aspiration nozzles and to check, if the machine has more than one
nozzle, that the nozzles are not mixed up. Check if the alarm that appears on the display corresponds to
the type of fluid that the nozzle is working with).
