6.9 FILTERS
6.9.1
Cleaning the filters
Open the lower compartment on the machine.
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its upper compartment, off. Also
turn the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off.
Close the water supply to the machine.
Access the filters and unscrew the caps (white plastic).
Extract the cylindrical filter present inside the cap. Clean it carefully, if possible using compressed air.
Clean the filter seat in the same way. Insert the cylindrical filter into its seat being careful to insert the
closed part facing towards the cap (the open part must permit the steel stem to insert inside the filter). Screw
the cap on the seat and repeat these procedures for the other filter.
Open the taps that supply water to the machine and restore the electrical supply. Close the lower panel.
6.9.2
Replacing the filters
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its upper compartment, off. Also
turn the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off.
Close the water supply to the machine and remove the hoses connected to the rear of the machine.
Unscrew the two screws that fasten the bracket to which the filters are fastened.
Pull out the bracket. Remove the filter from the steel bracket and replace it.
If both filters need to be replaced proceed with the above-indicated operations for each single filter,
performing this at different times (not simultaneously). Be careful not to invert the hot and cold water pipes.
Insert the filter unit on the bracket and then fasten the bracket. Reinstall the hoses in the rear of the appliance
being sure to respect their colors (red for hot water, blue for cold water).
Open the taps that supply water to the machine. Restore the electrical supply by turning on the mains main
switch and the service switch on the machine. Close the lower panel.
6.10 CHANGING "SUPPLY VOLTAGE"
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its upper compartment, off. Also
turn the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off. Disconnect the power supply cable from
the electric grid;
Remove nuts, washers and then the bridges (metal bars) that are fastened to the base without removing the
wires. Connect the bridges based on the voltage that will be used to power the appliance. Refer to the
wiring diagram. Then reinstall the washers and the lock nuts.
Open the black electrical connection box, remove the screws and disconnect the electric cable. Then connect
the new cable according to the reference diagram and thoroughly tighten the cable gland and close the
junction box;
Connect the cable to the power outlet and turn on the mains switch and the switch on the machine to give
power to the appliance.
6.11 REPLACING CARDS
6.11.1
Replacing the "main board” (CS0572)
Cut off power to the appliance by turning the service switch, located in its upper compartment, off. Also
turn the main switch on the external electrical supply mains to off.
Remove the connectors fastened to the motherboard (microswitch card) and then remove the protective cover
from the card.
Remove the motherboard pressing the plastic hooks and pull out the board. Install the new motherboard.
