6.2.2
Upper compartment solenoid valves (Water supply)
The solenoid valves in question are located at the top right of the upper compartment.
Cut off electrical power to the appliance using the service switch located in its upper compartment. Turn off
the main switch of the external power supply mains.
Shut off the water supply to the machine.
Press on the solenoid valve coil and turn it until it is released from the support. Pull it out from the solenoid
valve.
Loosen the water supply hoses, paying attention to residual water in the hoses and in the solenoid valve.
Then remove the solenoid valve by unscrewing the plastic ring on the water storage tank cover. Pull out the
solenoid valve, remove the 4 screws and pull out the metal head, paying attention to the parts housed in the
central cylinder. Pull out the rubber seal and clean it with compressed air.
Put the parts back in their seats and tighten the 4 screws all the way in.
Fasten the solenoid valve to the plastic ring.
Connect the hoses, paying attention to the hot and cold water connections.
Reinstate both electrical and water supplies.
6.2.3
ETS solenoid valve (Empty Total System)
The solenoid valve is located at the bottom right of the upper compartment.
Cut off electrical power to the appliance using the service switch located in its lower compartment. Turn off
the main switch of the external power supply mains.
Wait about 7 minutes for the pump to be emptied. Then make sure, looking through the transparent silicone
tube that exits from the pump, that all the water has discharged on the outside.
Remove the screws that clamp the bracket located on the frame at the bottom right of the upper
compartment.
Pull up the bracket and unscrew the clamps that hold the solenoid valve in place.
Remove the coil by unscrewing the screw above it. Pay attention to the parts that are removed together: pull
it out from the solenoid valve.
Loosen the clips and pull out the silicone tubes.
Clean with compressed air.
Reconnect the tubes, fasten the clips, check the condition of the electrical connections and reinstall the coil
on the solenoid valve.
Clamp the solenoid valve on the bracket with the clamps. Put it back inside the upper compartment and
fasten the screws that clamp the bracket.
6.2.4 ACS electric fan (Air Cooling System)
The electric fan is located at the top left of the upper compartment.
Cut off electrical power to the appliance using the service switch located in its upper compartment. Turn off
the main switch of the external power supply mains.
Remove the air filter by moving its bracket to the right.
Clean the filter and look inside the fan to see if it is dirty.
Reinstall the filter and its bracket. Check the condition of the electrical connections.
