necessary according to the instructions.

The detergent in the container may be corrosive.
Wear safety glasses and protective gloves.
• Pour 100 ml of agent into a measuring glass and push the
suction hose down into it. Check that the suction hose and
dosing pump are full of agent. Run a program with dosing. Lift
up the suction hose and check that the correct amount has
been used and that agent is not forced back when the pump
stops. The amount used must conform to the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
• If dosing is incorrect on a machine with dosing via the steam
generator, the back valve of the steam generator must be
inspected.
• Regarding the dosage amounts, see the container for the
respective agent.
• The hose between the dosing pump and the container must
be checked yearly and replaced every other year.

6.7.3 Replacing hoses in the dosing pump (6.2)
Wear and tear in combination with chemicals can accelerate
deterioration of the hose. All changes to the hose’s condition can
alter the amount of agent added and thereby have a negative
impact on the process. Replace the hose(s) regularly.
