6.5 Steam generator (Item 4)
6.5.1 Checking the steam generator (4.1)
Check the connections to the steam generator for leakage and
make sure the covering insulation is intact and no hot surfaces
are exposed.
6.5.2 Checking the steam generator function (4.2)
Check that the steam generator generates steam and the chamber
heats up.
Check service line 63:07 if the F7 error code appears.
If error code F7 displays repeatedly, the steam generator may
require cleaning according to the instructions below.
Cleaning the steam generator
If the water is hard (above about 6 dH) there is a risk of limescale
deposits forming on the elements of the steam generator. The
elements should be checked and cleaned once or twice a year.
