A-Arms (ZR/XF)
REMOVING
1. Elevate the front of the snowmobile and secure using
a suitable support stand.
2. Remove the push rivets securing the steering boot to
the chassis; then slide the boot away from the snow-
mobile.

3. Remove the torx-head screws securing the front skid
plate to the chassis; then remove the front skid plate.
4. Remove the ski shock absorber.
5. Remove the two lock nuts securing the spindle to the
A-arms; then using a rubber mallet, remove the arms
from the spindle. Discard the nuts.

6. Remove the cap screw and lock nut securing the
sway bar link to the lower arm. Discard the nut.

7. Remove the two cap screws and nyloc nuts securing
the lower arm to the chassis; then slide the boot from
the arm and remove the arm.

8. Remove the two cap screws and lock nuts securing
the upper arm to the chassis. Discard the nuts.

! WARNING
The measurement taken in front of the spindle must
never be less than the measurement taken behind the
spindle or poor handling will be experienced. Neglect-
ing to lock the tie rod by tightening the jam nuts may
cause loss of snowmobile control and possible per-
sonal injury.
