Perform these steps to configure a remote SNMP engine ID:
1.
Click
Administration
>
SNMP
.
2.
Select
Configure Engine
from the Step list.
3.
Select
Add Remote Engine
from the Action list.
4.
Enter an ID of a least 9 hexadecimal characters, and the IP address of the remote host.
5.
Click
Apply
.
Perform these steps to show the remote SNMP engine IDs:
1.
Click
Administration
>
SNMP
.
2.
Select
Configure Engine
from the Step list.
3.
Select
Show Remote Engine
from the Action list.
Setting SNMPv3 Views
Use the Administration > SNMP (Configure View) page to configure SNMPv3 views which are used to restrict user access to
specified portions of the MIB tree. The predefined view
defaultview
includes access to the entire MIB tree.

Administration - SNMP Options
Add View
View Name
The name of the SNMP view. (Range: 1-32 characters)
OID Subtree
Specifies the initial object identifier of a branch within the MIB tree. Wild cards can be used to
mask a specific portion of the OID string. Use the Add OID Subtree page to configure additional
object identifiers. (Range: 1-64 characters)
Type
Indicates if the object identifier of a branch within the MIB tree is included or excluded from the
SNMP view.
Add OID Subtree
View Name
Lists the SNMP views configured in the Add View page. (Range: 1-32 characters)
OID Subtree
Adds an additional object identifier of a branch within the MIB tree to the selected View. Wild cards
can be used to mask a specific portion of the OID string. (Range: 1-64 characters)
Type
Indicates if the object identifier of a branch within the MIB tree is included or excluded from the
SNMP view.
